Support Amara's Battle Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Dear WM colleagues, family and friends,
We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to ask for your support for Amara Lugo, a vibrant and loving 9-year-old girl from Camden, NJ, who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer.
Amara is the granddaughter of Camden Operations Manager Brian Hill, a 10 year member of our WM family. Those who know Brian know how deeply he loves his granddaughter, and right now, they are facing an unimaginable battle. Despite the devastating diagnosis, Amara continues to show incredible strength, courage, and her bright, beautiful smile.
Brian's family has a long road ahead — filled with hospital stays, treatments, and the everyday challenges of fighting this disease. We are rallying together to support them in every way we can, and we invite you to join us.
Your donations will go directly to:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Support for Amara's day-to-day care
Helping to give Amara moments of joy during her fight
No family should have to endure this hardship alone. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping Amara and Brian's family in your prayers.
Together, we can help lift some of the burden and surround Amara with the love and strength she needs to keep fighting.
Thank you,
The WM Camden Team
