Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.

I’m asking for help for my husband, Aman—the best person I know, and the person I love more than anything. If you’ve known Aman for years, you know how full of life he is. He’s always been positive, kind, and someone who brings light into every room he walks into.

Over the past two years, I’ve watched that light slowly fade.

What started as trouble sleeping and constant exhaustion turned into something much more serious. Aman began waking up every day feeling like he hadn’t slept at all. No matter how much rest he tried to get, his body just wouldn’t recover. Since then, things have only gotten harder. He has had to fight every day through chronic body pain, headaches, vision and memory issues, and so much more.

After three sleep studies and two hospitalizations, Aman was diagnosed with narcolepsy type 2 as the main condition, along with multiple other chronic health issues connected to his sleep disorder. But even with a diagnosis, we are still searching for answers—and for treatment that will truly help him feel like himself again.

Our life has been put on hold.

Aman can no longer enjoy the hobbies he once loved. Simple things, like going out or driving, have become difficult and sometimes impossible. He hasn’t been able to work much because his body just won’t cooperate. And the hardest part is seeing how much this has taken from him—the energy, the joy, the freedom he used to have.

Aman is the most loving, genuine, and selfless person I’ve ever known. He deserves to feel happy. He deserves to feel healthy. And I just want to see him smile and truly mean it again.

We are still at the beginning of this journey, and we have a long road ahead. There are more specialists to see, more treatments to try, and so much we still don’t know. Along with everything else, we are now facing overwhelming medical bills from hospital stays, sleep studies, and ongoing care.

We are hoping to raise $14,250 to help with:

Existing medical debt

Visits to specialists and further testing

Ongoing treatment as we search for answers
