Support Amani's Medical Program Journey at Georgetown
Donation protected
My name is Amani Sanchez and I'm a 16-year-old former National Honor Society member, current member of Health Occupations Students of America, Superintendent District Student Council member, former Student Government Vice President, and member of the Black Student Union. My favorite hobbies are cooking, singing, listening to music, and practicing with cosmetics. Like normal teens, I love to shop, hang out with my friends, and travel with my family.
At my high school, I am currently in the Allied Health Pathway. I have gained a vast amount of medical knowledge, learned critical care techniques, and confirmed that a career in pediatric medicine continues to be my passion. I am so excited to share that I have been personally invited and given the opportunity to attend The National Youth Leadership Forum: Advanced Medical and Health Career Program being held at Georgetown University this summer. This is a rare opportunity to experience what it is like to walk in the shoes of medical students, while also giving me insight and hands-on technical experience. At the conclusion of the program, I will receive college credits and certificates for engaging and immersing myself in the curriculum.
As a college student in the very near future, it is my personal goal to independently pursue my education and career path that I am passionate about. If you are able to support in any way, it will cover tuition costs, housing, on-site meals, supervisory personnel, program materials, college credit costs, all program activities, site visits, a Stop the Bleed certification, a Certificate of Completion, and local transportation during the program.
Thank you in advance for your love, generosity, and support for my passion. No donation is too small, and all are appreciated.
Love,
Amani S.
