Hello, My name is Amanda. Please help support my kidney and dental needs. Read story below:

6 months ago I started having some bad tooth pain. In the past I've had A LOT of work done to my back teeth and now everything is going bad again. I have genetic "soft teeth" as the dentists say. I've been looking for a new dentist in the beginning and thought I found a good one, however I caught them up-charging unnecessarily, so I ventured off to find a new one (this is now 2 months later since Dentists are always backed up with appointments...). Pain worsened over time to the point where I'm taking 2400 mg of Motrin per day. Unfortunately, Motrin is the ONLY thing that takes the pain away for 6 hours at a time.

To make long story short, I found what I thought was another good dentist/specialist in March/April. Stuck with them because I couldn't take the pain anymore. Specialist was convinced I needed an Apicoectomy (a re-root canal surgery) on 2 teeth, to start. Had the surgery, wasted my money/insurance money, surgery failed. Even worse pain than before. My dentist noted it was questionable if they could save these teeth to begin with, so I feel the specialist did the surgery just for the money. With that, I came to the conclusion I need all new implants in my back teeth (20 total) so I never have to deal with these issues again. I now know most dentists are greedy and there is no saving my teeth. I could go into a very long story of my history about my teeth in the past, but I'll save that.

With 6 months into this tornado of pain, I was worrying about my kidney function and taking all this Motrin. I got them tested and I am now down about 25% kidney function due to me taking Motrin. I have a genetic disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) and my kidneys are fragile. Over my tooth issues, I am now tremendously worried about my kidneys, and I need dental implants now so I can be done with pain killers once they heal. I will never gain the function I lost in my kidneys back, it will only get worse with more time added. The longer I have to wait for new teeth, the worse my kidneys will be, and I really don't want to go on dialysis by the end of the year.

In the 3D image taken of my teeth, you'll see the odd-looking things sticking out of my back teeth. Those are all areas that need to be "re-done". It's time for new back teeth. In the other image, you'll see my GFR number plummet down. GFR number is kidney function.

Dental implants are very expensive, and my insurance only covers up to $2,000 of it, and I already used that up this year for that unnecessary surgery. It will be a minimum total of $40,000 to get them done, but I'm embarrassed to even ask for financial help as it is. Anything helps.

Time and money are against me right now and I need some help. Thank you for listening.
