- My young niece Amanda Lin Seden-Ramirez, mother of two children, has been diagnosed with Invasive Ductile Carcinoma (IDC) stage 2b/3 and HER2 positive, an extremely aggressive form of breast/ lymph node cancer. She is just starting a new job working K-12, helping other families nurture their children. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover all co-pays and necessary treatments over the next year to help her survive this journey.
- The time that she will need to take off of work for chemo/ radiation and surgery will largely subtract earnings away from her family expenses that are necessities to be able to feed, clothe, and shelter her family.
