On January 30th, Amanda’s life changed suddenly when she suffered a stroke that has impacted her vision and mobility. She spent a week at UNC Hospital and is now working hard in inpatient rehab at UNC Hillsborough. The road to recovery is long, and doctors estimate Amanda will be out of work for at least three months, possibly longer, as she regains her strength and independence.
