hi guys, I had spinal surgery in September and originally it seemed to gf healing well. However, not only 3 months after my back became excruciating and the sciatica is nearly unbearable. Along with the return on the pain, my right knee started buckling, the leg strength weak more each day, until I fell twice on Saturday and ended up in the host. Now my leg is too weak to support me and the pain is awful so I spent a week in the hospital and then they transferred me today to acute rehab in facility from 2-3 weeks with 3 hours of intense physical therapy a day so I can regain my leg strength

I have been in the hospital for 7 days as of today, and it has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life. When I am finally discharged, I will be transported to an acute rehab facility where I will stay for 2-3 weeks. There, I’ll be undergoing three hours of intense physical therapy every day and will be monitored around the clock for pain management and medication care. This process is necessary for my recovery, but it also means I am unable to work and will continue to miss more hours in the weeks ahead.

This situation has left me in a very difficult financial position. I am worried about keeping up with my rent and making sure I have enough for groceries, all while facing medical expenses that my insurance may not fully cover. The uncertainty of how I’ll manage these basic needs while focusing on my health is overwhelming at times, but I am trying to stay hopeful and positive.
