Amanda, my sister, was in a devastating car crash this past Thursday night that could have easily been fatal. She suffered seven fractured ribs and a fractured back, and now faces a long road to recovery. Because of her injuries, Amanda will be out of work for an extended period, which has put a tremendous strain on her and her 18-year-old daughter, Skye. The sudden loss of income, combined with mounting medical bills and everyday expenses, has left them in a very difficult position.
