Our Thanksgiving blessing was Amanda having a long-awaited and successful heart transplant. The need for this operation was due to a genetic heart condition. Amanda will be in the hospital for a couple of weeks, then will be staying at an apartment right by the hospital for approximately 6 weeks for additional monitoring and recovery. Even though she gets a discount at this apartment, the cost will add up over the weeks, plus her normal bills at home. Amanda worked up until the day she was called in for the transplant surgery. She and her family appreciate any and all donations provided. We love her and we are very grateful for all support.
