So many of you know Amanda, AKA AirWalz, AC, Auntie Mana, but what most people don’t know is that Amanda has spent the last 7 months fighting to be these 3 things. Amanda has been privately battling an illness that started escalating in May and took a turn for the worst which landed her in the hospital for 23 days. That time was spent trying to find a diagnosis, as well as trying to help her regain feeling in her lower extremities, which she has since lost completely. Although she still does not have a cemented diagnosis, we do know there is a neurological misfire that is causing what has been happening within her body. She still has her “bette” (a walker). Yes she named her and added some lights to her (pic to come!).

With all this said, this has put a severe strain on her financially, as well as emotionally and physically. Due to loss of feeling in her legs, she is unable to drive, which means all items need to be delivered to her, including groceries, meals, etc. Amanda is a single mom to her son, Cole and is the sole provider of her household. On top of these new added expenses, she’s still also responsible for paying her mortgage, utilities and every day expenses. Now that the winter is here, she’ll also be needing to fill her oil as well as pay someone to do snow removal at her home. Her son, Cole, now has to take an uber to and from school and has had to quit boxing until it is in the budget again.

We’re kindly asking you to please help out our friend in any way that you can. Any amount that you are able to give will help ease the burden that Amanda is now carrying.
