Support Amanda's Fight for Independence

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to you during this incredibly distressing time. Overnight, I have developed weakness in my legs that has affected my ability to walk. This unforeseen change has left me struggling to adapt, leaving me in urgent need of assistance. I am creating this GoFundMe with the hope that I can obtain a specialized wheelchair that will significantly improve my quality of life.

In 2016, I suffered a cardiac arrest that turned my world upside down. Since then, I have been living with widespread chronic pain and numerous medical conditions that make everyday tasks a challenge. As a single mom of two wonderful children, my greatest fear is not being able to care for them the way they deserve.

A regular wheelchair might offer some relief, but due to severe issues in my cervical spine, I am unable to use my arms to maneuver one. The wheelchair I need is lightweight, fits in my vehicle, and can be easily transported by my son. This specialized wheelchair would restore my ability to move around independently, allowing me to continue being an active part of my children's lives.

This situation is incredibly time-sensitive, and every moment without proper mobility brings immense distress. Your generosity and support would not only help me regain my independence but also provide a sense of hope during this challenging time.
