Amanda is a 21-year-old mother fighting to keep custody of her 9-month-old daughter. Since the day her daughter was born, Amanda has been the sole caregiver. The father has been in and out of their lives, never sticking around for the hard moments—late-night cries, illnesses, or any of their daughter's doctor's appointments. He has controlled their finances, forcing Amanda to beg for essentials like formula and diapers. Her situation became even more difficult when she found herself in an abusive relationship, one that forced her to make a difficult decision to prioritize the safety and well-being of both herself and her daughter. Thanks to a court order of protection, Amanda and her daughter are currently safe, but the road ahead is still uncertain.

On top of everything, Amanda's beautiful daughter was born with a rare brain condition called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, as well as an inoperable lipoma mass. This diagnosis brings many unknowns and could make her future very challenging. But despite it all, she is thriving—she's strong, curious, full of smiles, and hitting milestones that doctors weren't sure she would reach.

Amanda is doing everything she can to give her daughter the stable, loving life she deserves. Legal costs are piling up, and it has been tough for Amanda to ask for help.
