At the beginning of October, Amanda began feeling unwell and noticed that even the simplest of tasks became increasingly difficult. After seeking medical attention, she was admitted to the hospital where she received a devastating diagnosis: Multiple Myeloma, a form of cancer that affects the plasma cells in the bone marrow. While there is no cure for Multiple Myeloma, Amanda will undergo chemotherapy and a range of treatments that will help manage her symptoms and improve her quality of life.

This journey ahead will be long and difficult, with frequent trips to Calgary for treatments, numerous doctor appointments, and a heavy load of medical expenses. Despite the challenges, Amanda remains determined and strong, but the financial burden is significant for both her and her brother.
