Right now, Amanda Davis is facing the fight of her life—and she cannot do it alone. If you know Amanda, you know she is a loving daughter, a devoted sister, and most importantly, a proud and incredible mother. She is also my sister-in-law, married to my brother Oscar, and such a special part of our family. She was recently married—building a beautiful life filled with love, hope, and new beginnings.
In April 2025, her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. She faced it head-on with strength and faith—undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and even wearing the Optune device as part of her treatment. Through it all, she never lost her spirit. She continued to show up for her family with courage and grace. But this month, after her most recent scans, we received the heartbreaking news: the cancer has returned. She is now preparing to begin another round of treatment. Her doctors are recommending immunotherapy and exploring additional options, including consultations at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, one of the leading cancer centers in the world.
As she steps into this next phase, her focus needs to be on healing—physically, mentally, and spiritually. This means potentially reducing work hours, taking time for treatment, and prioritizing rest and recovery. We are asking for support to help ease the financial burden that comes with this fight, including medical and treatment-related expenses, travel and lodging for specialized care, loss of income during treatment, and daily living expenses for her and her family. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting Amanda and her family through this journey. If you are unable to give, sharing this page and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers means just as much. Amanda truly believes she will overcome this. Her strength, her faith, and her love for her family are unwavering—and we are standing beside her every step of the way. If you feel led to help, please consider donating today and sharing her story. Your support—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply spreading the word—makes a real and meaningful difference in her fight.
