Support Amanda's Fight After Tragic Accident

Donation protected
This is a sad, unfortunate story that hopefully touches your hearts and souls. My daughter Amanda is the most good-hearted, funny, and giving person. She would not only give the shirt off her back to you but her whole outfit if it was her last. She would help anybody that needs it (friends, strangers, children, etc.). Now, when she needs the most support, no one is there for her.

On April 3rd, she was in a horrific car accident (due to legal reasons she can't disclose the rideshare company she took or any descriptive details), but she was a passenger, and this day changed her life FOREVER. She has lost everything. She is now paralyzed from the chest down and is devastated, to say the least. She no longer has the ability to do for herself, and she has been fighting every day to keep her spirits up and to become as independent as she can from learning at the spinal cord rehab. After her current rehab, the scariest thing for her is that she has been denied at over 80 facilities due to having only Medicaid and being 34 years old. She has no means of helping herself right now and is horrified about what is going to happen to her going forward. If she went to a long-term facility, it would NOT pay for her physical therapy, which she desperately needs and is critical for her mobility and pain. Medicaid only pays for room and board. I am trying to find a way to bring her to Florida.

If you can find it in your heart to help her while she is fighting every day to get better, anything will help. She is in the process of filing lawsuits, and we know how long the process goes on and how long it takes to get any settlements, if any at all. Please just take a moment to picture your life changing dramatically within a matter of seconds and having nothing or no one in your corner. She is a believer in God and knows that He will make a way for her. She just asks if anyone could help her while she is going through this life-changing trauma. Such support will provide her with hope and let her know it's okay to ask for help sometimes. Your donation will show her the support she deserves. God bless. Thank you!
