My name is Amanda. My husband was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 6yrs ago. Treatment has been going great until about 6 months ago. The cancer had been 'asleep' but woke up with a vengeance. Taking him from normal everyday life, working etc to Stage 4 kidney failure within just a couple weeks time. His health diminished so quickly and way of life changed so dramatically. We just purchased our first home together at the beginning of the year and before halfway through the year our lives have been altered so much so fast we are having a very hard time keeping up with everything. Between mortgage payment, vehicle payments, monthly bills, health issues, or just every day life it has been very hard to make ends meet. He is no longer able to work. Balancing between doctor appointments, dialysis appointments and most days he just doesn't even feel like getting out of bed because he has no energy. He has fortunately been able to get signed up for disability but it is a shame that our government expects Us the People to be able to afford life with what they provide with SSA payments. Our monthly income has been drastically lowered. Giving our current monthly income its been really hard making ends meet. We understand we all are having difficult times these days and great appreciate any and all support!
