Support Amanda's Family After Storm Loss

Hi my name is Amanda and I have a 6yr old daughter, Hailey Jae. I'm born and raised from Asheville NC and love my home. We just went through the most devastating experience with Hurricane Helene. I've never experienced so much loss and devastation in my entire life. Although my home still stands it sustained a lot of damage. Ceilings have water damage and looks like they are going to cave in in spots and my basement flooded and ruined everything in it from appliances to furniture and all my lawn equipment. My job was also destroyed in the storm. I'm currently seeking employment and searching vigently every day and praying something changes ASAP as I have no income coming in and no savings or credit left. I've applied for assistance with fema and unemployment on 10/1 and still waiting. I don't want to loose my car or home because I don't have the means to make payments or fix the issues I have now with my home. I'm concerned with mold issues from the storm damage and not having it fixed in a timely manner. I'm praying for a miracle right now. I'm praying for my hometown, my neighbors, and my own family that we will rebuild stronger than ever before and that everyone receives the help that we all desperately need. The funds are needed to fix ceilings, cracks that have appeared, basement cleaned and waterproofed, new washer and dryer and hot water heater, and to be able to keep my vehicle and utilities on! Any help is greatly appreciated and I'd be forever thankful and grateful. When I am back on my feet I will do whatever I can to pay it forward and help as many as absolutely possible.
