Support Amanda's Family After Home Collapse
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Lexi Pollock and I am here to share my best friend, Amanda’s story in hopes to help her through what is such a difficult time.
A few weeks ago, she, her husband, and three kids were home when all of a sudden they heard a “boom.” What they thought was their kids jumping off of their beds ended up being much, much worse. The foundation of their home caved in, leaving a hole under their house, deeming the home unable to be lived in.
Going from owning a home to being evacuated with limited funds for housing from insurance has been tough, especially with having to miss work due to the disaster’s needs. Not only has stress piled up due to the unknown and living out of boxes, but matters have unfortunately taken a turn for the worse.
After a virtual inspection of their home and its damages, insurance claimed it ISN’T covered and now they are forced to have this fixed out of pocket.
Not only will they have to have this fixed, they will have to find housing, maintain their bills in two places, and they may need to also get a lawyer to help with issues based on the previous home inspection done just five short years ago.
Amanda and her husband Cordell are NOT people to ask for help, but seeing the immense stress and emotions this has caused for them and their children, I can’t help but want to help and save them from this ongoing nightmare.
We have all been through some form of hardship and truly know that we are “all in this together.” With the power of many, miracles happen every day. Be it a share, a donation, or a manifestation of positive things ahead, you can help make a difference for this wonderful family. Together we can help ease their mental and physical load and create some form of magic for them. We got this.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration during all of this. I know they appreciate all of the help.
