Support Amanda's Cultural Journey to South Korea

Hello everyone!

My name is Amanda, and I’m a junior at a university in Georgia, U.S. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to study abroad in South Korea with my university this summer.

I’m majoring in Interactive Design with a minor in Korean, and this program would allow me to study mobile app programming and social psychology at a prestigious university in South Korea. This opportunity aligns perfectly with my passion for creating innovative applications and exploring different cultures, while also helping me fulfill credits for both my major and minor.

I’ve always been a dedicated student, graduating in the top ten of my high school class and maintaining Honors status throughout college with a 3.97 GPA. I’ve worked incredibly hard to get to where I am today, and this study abroad program would allow me to continue excelling academically while gaining invaluable cultural and professional experiences, especially given the program allows me to make connections and network with professionals across the world.

While I currently receive a Pell Grant, I’m still about $500 short of reaching my goal to afford this trip. I’m a full-time student working two campus jobs to save as much as possible, but I could really use some extra help to make this dream a reality.
