Amanda is my cousin, a devoted mother of five and a woman of strong faith who now faces one of the toughest battles of her life. She was recently diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma, a form of breast cancer that requires aggressive treatment. Her doctors have recommended a double mastectomy, and her surgery is scheduled for December 15. Amanda will be unable to work for at least six weeks while she recovers, and the financial strain is weighing heavily on her and her family.
