My name is Sarah, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my sister-in-law, Amanda. She’s a single mom to two wonderful kids—a 17-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl.

In 2021, while pregnant with her youngest, Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer. She endured chemotherapy during pregnancy, followed by a mastectomy and radiation. In June 2024, her cancer returned as Stage 4 metastatic. Since then, she has faced multiple failed chemo treatments, more radiation, and is now trying yet another round of chemotherapy.

Amanda has worked faithfully at her company for 20 years, but a sudden change in ownership has taken away the job security and flexibility she relied on to manage weekly treatments. Disability benefits will take up to six months to begin, leaving her at risk of financial hardship and missing critical care.
