Famously, a clown. You know her! You love her. She makes you laugh, she rushes in to be a caretaker at the drop of a hat, she picks up trash around Chicago as a hobby because she's just that good of a citizen steward.

Now, Amanda needs a couple ounces of all the good she puts into the world back.

She thought she got a Lime scooter in front of her favorite place (the Zoo). Instead? It was a lemon. If you don't know Amanda's love of Zoo, please know it runs deep; to be thrown off a scooter into the pavement in front of Zoo is akin to dropping all your books in front of your high school crush. But in this case? Your books are your skin and bones! Your crush hates that!

You ever break a funny bone? SHE DID IT, JOE! You ever know that an elbow cap can float away from the rest of the elbow? You do now! That kind of upsetting-to-think-about injury means surgery is in the cards! Friends, you may also remember that our Best Orphan ™️ is also unemployed right now. She's trying to get to a surgeon as soon as she can so she can start the arduous healing process (surgery, lots of physical therapy) and get back to a job hunt in an already tough job market.

Times are tough, but community is tougher! So with that in mind, chip in and make a hard time a little less hard?
