Please help support the Thompson family

Hello my name is Tracy Hill,

I would like to introduce you to my best friend (like family to me ) Amanda Davis Thompson. She is a wife, mother, daughter,sister, aunt and many more things in between.

Amanda was a very talented hair stylist and was owner of Salon 86 in Piedmont.

But, in 2012 due to major back and other health problems her dream of continuing business fell apart. This was devastating to her as she loved to serve and help others feel good about themselves.

Amanda and her family consisting of her husband Jason Thompson ( of 18 years) and 2 sons Jase and Clayton have tried very hard to keep basic things together.

She has had many different surgeries over the past years to try to make their life as “normal “ as possible. But, this past week they as a family have had another major set back.

On Monday August 12th she was admitted to MUSC in Charleston for a very serious surgery on her spinal cord and brain. She was in the hospital Monday until Saturday, while her husband Jason had to stay in a motel close by.

Then on Sunday August 18, she started leaking spinal fluid and had to be taken back to MUSC by ambulance, from Greenville. As of today the doctor has things under control but they have to stay 5-7 more days.

So, they not only have last week’s expenses of hotel, gas and food but they have this week’s expenses.

I am coming to you requesting any help you can give to Amanda and Jason to help cover some of their expenses.

A lot of you may know Jason more than Amanda as he is a Piedmont fire fighter and has served our Piedmont community over 30 years. So, let’s please let them know we are giving them our support during this trying time.

Please help, share and most of all pray for Amanda’s healing and for this family.
