Amanda McKay has been with Payments Canada since August 2016. During her time with us, she has been a kind, caring and supportive colleague and friend. She always greets you with a smile and always makes time to help when you need it. We would like to return the favour and provide her with the support and encouragement as she has provided for us. 

A few years ago, Amanda was diagnosed with cancer. With her strong will and determination, she beat it. Unfortunately, she found out recently that the cancer has returned. 

Amanda’s last day at Payments Canada was Friday, February 26th, and she has now entered into palliative care. She is at home, rather than a hospice, with her family around her.

Payments Canada has set up this go-fund-me page to provide financial and emotional support for Amanda and her family during this very difficult time. Funds raised will be used for her home palliative care nursing needs. Words of encouragement are priceless.
