On October 15th, 2025, Amanda Lorman was tragically struck in a hit-and-run on Westwood Northern Blvd. The person responsible has still not been found. Amanda spent five months in the ICU fighting for her life with incredible strength and resilience. Surrounded by love, she held on as long as she could, but she sadly passed away on March 15th due to her injuries.
Amanda was a deeply cherished daughter, sister, and friend whose life was taken far too soon. Her loss is not only heartbreaking—it is unimaginable. Her family has already endured profound grief, having previously lost another daughter to tragedy. Now, Amanda’s mother is facing the overwhelming emotional pain of losing a second child, along with the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses.
The funeral home has quoted approximately $15,000 for Amanda’s burial, services, and memorial plaque—an expense that is simply too much for her family to carry alone during this devastating time.
We are asking for support from friends, family, and the community to help give Amanda the memorial she deserves. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward covering funeral and burial costs and easing the weight on her grieving family.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping Amanda and her family in your thoughts means more than words can express. We also ask that anyone with information about this hit-and-run come forward to help bring justice and closure to Amanda’s family.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
