Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My mother's illness came on quickly, strongly, and unexpectedly. Along with her liver shutting down, her kidneys are now going too. Doctors aren't hopeful for a recovery.

As we begin to process this, I will also be faced with the unexpected financial burden of arranging her funeral. I want to honor her life with the dignity and respect she deserves, but unfortunately, the costs are more than I can manage alone.
