Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out to you to share the story of our beloved sister, Amanda, and her courageous battle against cervical cancer. Amanda has always been a vibrant, loving and kind person facing life's challenges. However, nothing could have prepared her, or our family, for the diagnosis of cervical cancer.

This is her story written by her,

"My name is Amanda and back in November of 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer, I had just gotten by degree to help people when i started to get symptoms. My doctors had put me through radiation and chemo in order to shrink the 9 cm tumor that was in my cervix. It was honestly one of the worst things I've ever had to go through to the point where my kidneys almost shut down. For at least a month I was feeling great and was back to work, but then I had to go to the hospital again for abdominal pain. My doctor later explained to me that although they had significantly shrunk the tumor in my cervix, the cancer unfortunately metastasized and spread to my inner thigh, lymph nodes, my kidneys, liver and lungs and apparently those had been growing the whole time. Once they run this new biopsy, they will tell me how much longer I have to live, the truth is I want to do everything i can to keep trying to fight for my life, There is a doctor at the burzynski clinic that does not treat cancer in the traditional way but his statistics are a lot better then my current chances.
