On July 15th, Emma was involved in a devastating UTV rollover accident. She suffered multiple serious injuries, including broken legs, a broken ankle, a broken hand, broken ribs, and numerous other injuries. She was transported from Emplify Gundersen to American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, where she underwent surgery on her left leg. Her other fractures were able to be set and casted. Emma has a long road to recovery ahead and will be wheelchair and bed-bound for the next couple of months.

If you know Amanda, you know she would give the shirt off her back to help anyone. Everything she does is for her family, and right now her only focus is being by Emma's side as she heals. Unfortunately, being there for Emma also means significant lost income. Amanda has very limited paid time off available and cannot afford to live on reduced-pay leave. Along with medical expenses, travel, and everyday bills, the financial burden is quickly adding up. We're asking for help so Amanda can focus on what matters most—caring for Emma—without the added stress of financial hardship.
