Support Amanda Dawn Pieper's Healing Journey

I'm doing this for my mom. Her name is Amanda Dawn Pieper. She has been battling Chiari malformation type 1 since 2023. She had surgery on September 19, 2024. She spent 4 days in ICU and was released on September 23, 2024. She was home for 7 days when her incision started leaking spinal fluid. She was admitted on October 2, 2024, with a drain plug in her lower back and was in ICU for 6 days and a regular room for 24 hours with monitoring. She was released on October 8, 2024. By October 15, she had a softball-sized lump in the back of her head, which again was spinal fluid. She followed up with the neurologist, and they were hoping her body would absorb it. As the pressure began to build up, she blacked out several times. November 19, 2024, she met up with Dr. Morgan, the neurologist, to determine what the next step was. With the consultation, they determined the best thing to do was put in a brain shunt. They scheduled the next surgery to be November 23, 2024, and she would spend two days in ICU and go through another major brain surgery to put the shunt in. Due to the extreme vertigo spells and passing out, she has been off of work since April 2024. Any help is greatly appreciated. We know that God has a bigger plan for us; we just have to adjust to all the new changes for our mom. Please continue to pray for this next journey in life.
