Hey everyone, my name is Amanda and this gofundme is for myself and my husband Josh. 3 years ago or more my husband started having problems with severe panic attacks, fatigue, severe depression, and involuntary movements and seizures. Turns out he has Functional Neurological Disorder or FND for short. I myself also have 5 autoimmune diseases and 3 mental health disorders. As a result of my illnesses in October of 2025 I had to leave my job which I held for 13 years. I am in the process of finding a lawyer to apply for disability. My husband, whose symptoms grow increasingly worse, may have to do the same. I’m currently working at markets and festivals and he’s trying desperately to go to his day job but it’s not enough. I am reaching out to the community of people I know and people I don’t in hopes we can get some donations to help pay down our mortgage in a big chunk to lower the payment and I need a new-to-me/used car or small truck. I am in the process of applying for jobs also even though it’s not great for me health but hey, gotta do something right… So we do have a goal but also anything helps.
