This fundraiser is for Amanda and Eric, two dear friends whose lives changed in an instant on 9/2. Eric was involved in a devastating accident and was rushed to the ICU. By the grace of God, Eric survived the most critical stage and is now stable and receiving the next level of care. Even with that huge milestone, Amanda and Eric are now facing the reality of a severe traumatic brain injury and a long, uncertain road ahead. Recovery from a brain injury takes time, patience, faith, and so much support, and right now they are taking it one day, one hour, and sometimes one moment at a time.

The next step is getting Eric back home to New Jersey and transferred to a facility that specializes in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, where Eric can receive the focused care needed for this stage of recovery. As Amanda and Eric navigate these unknowns, this fundraiser will help ease some of the burden by covering monthly bills and any supplemental care needs during Eric’s recovery.
