Thank you to friends and supporters who have helped us. This is Amaliia. My husband was detained by ICE 12 months ago. We continue to need your help and support desperately. I had been hoping we would have a happy update and would not need your support. But we truly need you and your friends and family more than ever.

It has been a full year that Shah has been in detainment.

One year of raising our young daughter without her father.

One year of caring for my ill mother, who cannot walk.

One full year of the constant fear, stress, and never – ending struggle as I try to pay for everything, support Shah’s legal needs, and ensure the security of our small family.

My name is Amaliia, and I am reaching out during the most difficult time of our lives.

My husband, Shokhrukh “Shah” Abdullaev, was detained illegally, and he is now being held in an immigration detention center. He is an honest, hardworking man with Work Authorization and a CDL, who has always thought of our family and worked to build a future here

⚖️ Why We Must File in Federal Court

Because his detention is illegal and standard bond and sponsorship procedures do not apply, the only legal option is to file through Federal Court using Habeas Corpus.

This makes the process much more complicated, longer, and expensive.

What the Funds Are Needed For

Legal Costs:

• $10,000 — Happy US attorney

• $10,000 — Habeas Corpus filing in federal court

• $15,000 — main federal court case

• Potential bond — starting from $15,000 and up (exact amount will be determined later)

The attorney has agreed to split payments: $5,000 now and $5,000 in two weeks, and the same installments for other stages.

Living Expenses:

I am left alone to cover everything:

• rent

• car loan

• car insurance

• utilities

• basic living expenses

• calls to the detention center and document preparation

I am working two jobs, but even that is not enough to cover everything at once.

Employer Did Not Help

The company my husband worked for:

• did not return his $2,500 deposit

• did not pay his last paycheck

Other trucking companies often help their drivers, act as sponsors, and support families. We have received no help.
