Support Amal and Her Family from Gaza

My name is Nabil Noah, I am a student in Berlin and started this fundraiser on behalf of friends of my family. This is their message:

“Dear Friends,

My name is Amal, a 25-year-old from Gaza City. I belong to a family of nine members: my father, mother, six siblings, and myself. In the harsh circumstances we endured in Gaza amidst bombardment, hunger, and pandemic, we were forced to flee our home after being surrounded by the occupation forces. We walked for two to three hours to the southern region of the Gaza Strip. My father, who is 56 and suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, and arthritis, and my younger brother Yusuf, also diabetic, endured this journey under the scorching sun, with the occupation forces surrounding us, even denying us a sip of water.

Upon reaching southern Gaza, we left behind all our dreams, our home, my father's store, and my elder siblings. We received images of our home and my father's store, which he had spent his life building for us, completely burned and destroyed. The artillery fire and war had rendered them unrecognizable.

After spending two months under war in Gaza, we moved to Egypt. We spent all our remaining funds on what is called "coordination fees" to facilitate our entry into Egypt. Currently, we have no home, job, or any basis for life to continue as it once was.

We humbly request your compassion to help us build a new life and hope outside Gaza, a place now unfit for human habitation due to massive destruction and ethnic cleansing.

Our Fundraising Goal: $60,000

The proceeds from this campaign will be allocated as follows:

$30,000 for approximately two years of rent for a family home and other living expenses.

- $30,000 to establish a business for my father, enabling us to start a new life and work.
