Justice for Amadou: Help Support His Family

On the night of August 16th, our beloved Amadou Diallo, just 27 years old, was tragically shot and killed in Brooklyn, NY while delivering food. He was caught in the crossfire an innocent bystander simply doing his job to make an honest living.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they found 12 gunshot victims: eight men and three women, ranging in age from 19 to 61 years old. Tragically, three people were pronounced dead, including a 19-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, and Amadou, our 27-year-old brother, son, and friend.

Amadou came to the United States chasing a dream — to build a better future for himself and his family. He worked tirelessly, often late into the night, delivering food to support his loved ones. He was humble, kind, and full of hope for a brighter tomorrow.

His life was cut short in a senseless act of violence. Amadou wasn’t involved in any conflict — he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. His death has left a deep void in the lives of his family, friends, and community.
