Hello! My name is Abigail Heimer, and my dad and I are participating in the Muddy Dash 5K run on August 15 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

We are running to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of someone close to our family who is living with Alzheimer’s. This cause is especially meaningful to us because we have seen firsthand the challenges this disease can bring—not only to the person affected, but also to the family members and caregivers who support them.

Seeing the impact of Alzheimer’s on individuals and their loved ones has inspired us to take on this challenge and support the millions of people and families affected by the disease.
