Alyssa is only 19 years old, but her life has already been marked by incredible battles.
During her senior year of high school, Alyssa was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In an instant her senior year was taken from her. After enduring a long and difficult treatment plan that included chemotherapy and radiation, she was finally able to ring the bell, that this chapter was behind her.
Just a few months after treatment, Alyssa began a new journey as a college wrestler. But that hope was short-lived. She was forced to return home early when she learned her cancer had come back for the second time.
After already beating cancer once, Alyssa is now facing it again—this time with an even more intense road ahead. Her treatment plan includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and a cell transplant. On top of everything, she is also undergoing fertility preservation, holding onto her hope of having a family one day.
If you know Alyssa, you know she is strong, faithful, and a fighter. Although college was put on hold, and wrestling was taken from her, she refuses to give up. Still, she cannot do this alone.
We are asking for your support—whether through a donation, a prayer, or sharing her story. Every act of kindness helps carry Alyssa and her family through this battle-for the second time, and God willing, the last!
