My name is Alyssa. Im a recovering addict with 2 years of sobriety. In those two years I have completed so many milestones including getting my children back and building a foundation for them. Ive completed IOP, relapse prevention and I just recently graduated Felony Drug Court. Im in the process of getting my peer support certification and then my CDCA. I work a full time job and overtime and I pay it forward every chance that I can.
I have worked so hard and overcome so many obstacles to get as far as I am, I wont let anything make me feel defeated.
I am reaching out because I have recently learned my car needs a transmission and I cant afford it all on my own. This is a very unexpected expense as I just bought it for nearly $7,000 from a dealership without being told there was an underlying issue. My car is my means to work. To get my kids back and forth. My way to my meetings and to help others in recovery.
