Hug them. Squeeze them. Hold them close. You never know when your final time together will be. We were just packed into the living room, laughing and watching her play with the girls, who she absolutely adored. Now, she’s gone. This week, we lost my sister…my little brother’s wife.

At just 35 years old, her passing was sudden and absolutely heartbreaking, leaving my brother, niece, and our entire family absolutely devastated. Alyssa was a beautiful, caring person who touched the lives of everyone around her. She loved my niece and took care of her as if she were her own, raised their dog, Theo, as if he was her son, and was the soulmate to my younger brother. Her kindness, warmth, and love made her immediately a Jackson and part of our family.

Her loss is unimaginable, and our family is struggling to come to terms with this tragedy. We want to honor Alyssa’s memory by providing her with the funeral she deserves. Funeral costs can be overwhelming, and my brother needs support during this difficult time.
