Hi! For those of you that don't know me, my name is Alyssa. I am a brain tumor, epilepsy, coma, colon and stage 4 ovarian cancer survivor.
- Although I am currently in remission all the operations and chemotherapy I have received forever changed my body for the worse. I am hospitalized quite often. I suffer from seizures, severe chronic abdominal/back pain, colitis, bowel obstructions and adhesions. I have had more operations and have more scars than I can count. Unfortunately, my health has recently declined and I need to get a portacath installed into my chest. All of the needles from chemo and treatment over the many years have left my arms bare and unable to hold IVs, midlines or pic lines.
