I’m Alyssa Dawn Brockmeyer, mother of the wonderful cat, Spirit. We are asking for support with medical bills, lost wages, and recovery due to a horrific situation that took place last Saturday.

2 huge dogs from the neighbor’s house broke into our backyard and violently attacked my beautiful cat, Spirit.

After immediately jumping in to save my cat’s life I found myself in the middle of a vicious fight between 3 animals. I went into fight-or-flight and would do anything to save my baby of 7 years!!!

While trying to get my cat free, I was bitten and scratched all over with a total of 5 bites from the dogs and my cat along with various scratches on both hands, arms and legs.

After visiting Urgent Care every day for treatments, I developed a very serious infection in my left arm/hand & had to go to the Emergency Room Tuesday.

Spirit, on the other hand, is ALIVE!!!

We are definitely BLESSED! It’s a miracle that he came out with just a bite on his left shoulder & fleas. Of course we are both really shook up with some major PTSD, but I saved my cats life!!!

Spirit and I are asking for your support with much love, gratitude, and blessings to help with medical expenses, vet expenses, lost wages (due to inability to work one-handed), and miscellaneous recovery costs.
