Hi everyone,

My name is Alyssa Nash, and I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Social Work. I have been given the incredible opportunity to travel abroad to South Africa as part of my program. This experience will not only enrich my education but also allow me to gain invaluable cultural insight, connect with communities, and learn firsthand how social work is practiced across different societies.

As someone deeply committed to working with children, families, and vulnerable populations, I believe this journey will shape me into a more compassionate, informed, and effective social worker. By immersing myself in another culture, I hope to return with a broader perspective, new skills, and a deeper dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
