Support Alyssa and Grayson After Baby Sawyer's Loss

Alyssa and Grayson welcomed their second baby Dec 13 at 5:30 pm, Sawyer James Charles 6.9 oz and 7.5 in. Sadly he was born at only 18wks 3 days gestation and did not have a heartbeat at birth. He was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (alobar holoprosencephaly)and heterotaxy syndrome (his stomach was not on the correct side and cardiac defects would be present) prior to birth and an amnio confirmed how severe things were. The drs are now highly recommending genetic testing if they plan to have more children. Alyssa will be off work for a couple wks recovering and as a family they will be grieving the loss of their baby all while trying to keep Christmas magical for Cannon.

Medical bills add up quickly even with insurance and the cost of cremation is a lot. If anyone is able to help them in this very difficult time please donate and if not that is completely understandable. Please keep them in your prayers as they grieve this loss and try to keep life as normal as possible for Cannon.

On December 13 2024 our little angel was born at 5:30pm. Sawyer James Charles at 6.9 oz and 7.5in long came to the world without a heartbeat, but was put right into his mommy’s arms. He was moving all around in his mommy’s belly that morning and was told the whole day how much we love him and that everything will be ok. He was so strong through everything. He was very very loved from day one to his last breath. He was surrounded by all of his grandparents. Who are amazing for being there all day with us through this difficult time. They waited all day to meet their second grandbaby from us. He was born so tiny and oh so perfect. He will forever know how much he was loved and that his mommy and daddy did everything they could for him. Sawyer was put first through this whole difficult time. My little angel is so so missed and there is a huge hole in my heart right now, but I know he is where he is supposed to be. We were very lucky to get to hold him and spend time with him in a way that was best for all of us. Now we are home with our other little one and he puts a huge smile on our faces. We will forever miss our Sawyer and he will forever be with us. Cannon will always know of him and all the love we have for the both of them. We have two beautiful babies and we will one day get to see him again.

As the saying goes, “your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.” We love you forever and always Sawyer James. Now you have fun dancing up there in heaven. You have family all around you❤️
