Hi, my name is Marissa, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.

This is Mamba — the beloved best friend of my co-worker and dear friend, Alysa. Recently, Mamba was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma, a type of cancer that requires aggressive chemotherapy to treat. He just turned 5 years young, and with treatment, he still has so much life and love left to give.

I’m starting this fundraiser because Alysa is one of the most selfless, compassionate people I’ve ever met. She’s the friend who’s always there — to listen, to guide, and to support everyone around her. Now, it’s our turn to support her.

Mamba is Alysa’s heart dog — her soul companion — and they deserve more time together. This diagnosis has brought not only emotional pain but a tremendous financial burden. Chemotherapy is costly, and while Alysa would do anything for Mamba, the reality is that treatment comes with expenses that are hard to manage alone.
