Hi all Kylie and Jemima here
Most of you know our girl as Aly.
On Sunday, Aly was involved in a serious accident that has completely changed her life in an instant. On impact, Aly sustained devastating injuries, including a ruptured artery in her neck, a broken collarbone that requires surgery with screws and a plate, multiple broken ribs on her left side, and a fractured scapula.
She required urgent, life-saving surgery to repair the ruptured artery. During that surgery, doctors discovered a blood clot on her brain. Thankfully, they were able to remove it in time, but Aly also suffered a stroke as a result.
Right now, Aly is in the stroke ward, showing the same strength and determination that anyone who knows her would expect. She is working incredibly hard every single day with occupational therapy and physiotherapy, pushing herself through pain, exhaustion, and uncertainty.
Aly’s recovery will not be quick or easy. Her broken collarbone alone will take months to heal after surgery, and her stroke recovery will require ongoing therapy, rehabilitation, and time. She faces a long and challenging road ahead, and her focus right now is entirely on healing and regaining her independence.
What makes this even harder is that Aly had been working tirelessly to build her business from the ground up. She poured her heart, energy, and savings into creating something meaningful for her future. This accident has forced everything to stop, and she now faces months away from her business while she focuses on her recovery.
With costs to keep the business running for the next 3 months totaling around $20,000 alone, if we can take the financial stress of Aly, it means all she needs to focus on is her health and recovery.
If you know Aly, you know how strong, independent, and determined she is. She has always been the person helping others, showing up, and giving everything she has. Now she needs our support.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you for supporting Aly and helping her rebuild, recover, and come back stronger.
With love and gratitude,
Her family and loved ones
