As some of you know, life has turned upside down for me these past few months, between health issues and car issues. On January 15, I was “diagnosed” with sciatica (a symptom), which comes with severe, debilitating pain and weakness. After dealing with much more complicating, red-flag symptoms since that day, I decided to go back to the ER to get an MRI.

As expected, I was admitted on January 22. After doing some scans, they discovered that I have a bulged disc in my spine, hitting my sciatic nerve with every move I make. They also discovered that I have a large cyst growing on my ovary. As you can imagine, the pain has been very intense and interferes with my every day life. Simple things such as getting out of bed, changing my clothes, brushing my teeth, laying down, sitting in a chair, or simply walking from point A to point B comes with unimaginable pain that I wouldn’t even wish on my worst enemy.

I have been out of work for a week so far, and per the doctor’s request, I will be out of work for yet another week (tentative - could be longer based on results of future appointments). This has, unfortunately, taken a heavy toll on me and my finances. I need to be able to afford rent, groceries, and gas to make it to my appointments while I work towards healing my body, so that I can finally get back to work. I just started my dream job a month ago and it’s my absolute passion, and I miss my babies!

Asking for handouts is not what I do. It’s not in my nature, but this is crucial in order to keep a roof over my head and afford my other bills/necessities, so this is my last option.
