Alyce Malicote Wright is my niece, and she is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. After losing her husband to cancer two years ago, Alyce was diagnosed with cancer herself. She now relies on a cane, walker, and sometimes a wheelchair to stay mobile. Despite her strength and determination, she is unable to work and her only income is from her late husband’s social security.
