I’m Karlee and my dear friend Alta has been going through an incredibly difficult time. After enduring a year of nonstop tinnitus and the heartbreaking loss of one of her dogs, she’s now facing yet another challenge.

Two weeks ago, she got a tattoo—and her body has been rejecting the ink ever since. What started as a reaction has now landed her in the hospital, still searching for answers and a path to healing.
