Support Al's Journey to Recovery

Thank you for taking the time to hear Al’s story. For those of you who may not know Al, he just turned 25, loves to watch sports (especially basketball and boxing), he’s a son, a brother, a man of God, lover of pizza and sweets, and a fiancé. We recently admitted him to the hospital for what we thought was sepsis from a reoccurring toothache he had been complaining of. We instead received news we never expected to hear- that Al had a tumor on the cerebellum portion of his brain and they had to treat him immediately because had he waited any longer, he may not be here with us today. After multiple CT scans, full body MRI’s, a 12 hour surgery, and countless more medical testings, Al is going through recovery and we truly have God and countless thoughts and prayers from all who love him to thank for this. We aren’t out of the clear yet as we are awaiting the pathology report to return on the tumor, are still in the ICU for some time, and a lengthy recovery to get back feeling and movement in all extremities as they should be.
Through all of this we are remaining in prayer and trusting in God.
We started this fund, at the request of his mom, to help out during this time as Al is not able to return to work and we are wanting to stay on top of his bills, as well as any medications, treatments, rehab/physical therapy, and all that comes with this long and unexpected process. We thank God for all who have kept us and Him in your thoughts and prayers. Every little bit helps as we navigate the next stages of his recovery and we would be more than grateful for continued prayers at this time as well. Thank you once again for taking the time to hear his story.
