Support Alonzo's Family After Tragic Loss

Hello, my name is Denise Oatman. I am the great aunt of Alonzo Crosby; his father, Maurice Crosby, is also my nephew. On the 25th day of October, 2024, Alonzo attempted to take his own life. His family gathered at the hospital praying for Alonzo. Unfortunately, we were advised by the doctors that there was nothing they could do; Alonzo was brain dead. The mother of his 3 children, his mother, and his father now faced the unthinkable decision that no parent should ever have to make, which was to disconnect him from life support. That day, our lives changed. A father and mother had to say goodbye to their 29-year-old son, and a mother had to say goodbye to the father of her 3 children. Alonzo was 29 years of age. No one could even imagine Alonzo was going through such pain because he kept a smile on his face.

I'm appealing to your generosity to help get Alonzo buried and to assist with life going forward for his 3 children, ages 2, 5, and 9. Alonzo was the sole support of his family. The funds generated through your contributions will help the mother provide food, shelter, emotional support, and any other necessities they may have in the near future. This will also give mom a support system during this very difficult time while she navigates into new territory: grief counseling, employment, etc. Any amount, no matter how small, will help in this tragic time.
