Help Alma Fight Breast Cancer and Support Her Family

Alma has been a resident of California for the past 10 years, living with her loving husband, Hector, and their two wonderful daughters. Alma and Hector have always worked incredibly hard to make ends meet, and their daughters have been excelling in school thanks to their dedication.

On May 24, 2024, Alma received the devastating diagnosis of Stage 2 Ductal Carcinoma of the breast. Since then, it has been increasingly difficult for her to continue working, and this has taken a heavy toll on their family both emotionally and financially.

Despite Hector's relentless efforts to provide for the family, the rental and daily expenses are overwhelming. Alma’s illness has disrupted their lives, and they are struggling to cope with the financial burden while maintaining a sense of normalcy for their daughters.

Currently, Alma has gone through five rounds of chemotherapy. She has 2 more rounds to go before the doctors evaluate further treatment and surgery. Every chemo session is making her physically weak, though she is trying to stay strong mentally and emotionally with the support of her family and friends. We will post a bi-weekly update on Alma’s treatment and recovery.
